Lately, I've decided to translate RivaMika doujins as my way of learning Japanese. But most of the times, I tend to forget the process of how I've translated them because I don't document hahaha. So I've decided to use this blog to do just that. ^_^

もしも (若しも, moshimo) = if
君 (kimi) = you
が (ga) = [particle] indicates sentence subject

母も父も殺された
Haha mo chichi mo korosareta
My mother and father were both killed
母 (haha) = mother
も (mo) = [particle] and; also
父 (chichi) = father
殺 (ya) = kill
された (sareta) = indicate past tense

もう何もかもがどうでもよかった
Mou nanimokamo ga dou demo yokatta
I don't care what happens to me anymore
もう (mou) = already; anymore
何もかも (nanimokamo) = anything and everything; just about everything
どう (如何, dou) = how; in what way; how about
でも (demo) = even if
良い (yoi) = good; usually shortened to いい
かった (katta) = [suffix] past tense for adjectives
どうでもいい (dou demo ii) = does not matter

訳も分からないまま売り飛ばされ、
Wake mo wakaranai mama uritobasa re
Without understanding the reason, I was sold off
訳 (wake) = reason
分かる (wakaru) = to be understood
ない (nai) = [suffix] negate verbs
まま (儘) = condition; state
売り飛ばす (uritobasu) = to dispose of; to sell off

ろくでもない金持ちに買い取られた
Ro kude mo nai kanemochi ni kaitora reta
and purchased by a worthless rich person
ろくでもない (rokudemonai) = good-for-nothing; worthless
金持ち (kanemochi) = rich man
に (ni) = [particle] indirect object indicator
買い取ら (kaitora) = buy; purchase

私は観賞用とした生かされた
Watashi wa kanshou-you to shita ikasa reta
I was kept alive to be used for their entertainment
私 (watashi) = I
は (wa) = [particle] topic marker
観賞 (kanshou) = admiration; enjoyment
用 (you) = use (as a suffix) 生かす (ikasu) = to keep alive

服も食物も与えられた
Fuku mo shokumotsu mo ataerareta
I was given clothes and food
服 (fuku) = clothes
食物 (shoukumotsu) = food
与える (ataeru) = to give (与えられた is past indicative in potential plain form)

時折姿を現す時の笑顔も、
Tokiori sugatawoarawasu-ji no egao mo
Sometimes, smiling faces would appear
時折 (tokiori) = sometimes
姿 (sugata) = figure; shape; appearance
を (wo) = [particle] direct object indicator
現す (arawasu) = to reveal
姿を現す (sugata wo arawa su) = to make an appearance; to show up
笑顔 (egao) = smile; smiling face

名前を呼ぶ粘着質な声も
Namae wo yobu nenchaku-shitsuna koe mo
Calling out my name with slimy voices
名前 (namae) = name
呼ぶ (yobu) = to call out
粘着 (nenchaku) = cohesion; adhesion
質 (shitsu) = quality
声 (koe) = voice

肌を触る卑しい手も、
Hada wo sawaru iyashii te mo,
Touching my skin with their vile hands,
肌 (hada) = skin; body (in the context of intimate bodily contact)
触る (sawaru) = to touch; to feel
卑しい (iyashii) = greedy; vulgar; vile
手 (te) = hand

何もかもに吐き気がした
Nanimokamo ni hakike ga shita
It all makes me sick
吐く (haku) = to vomit
気 (ki) = spirit; disposition
吐き気 (hakike) = nausea; sickness in the stomach

それでも逃げられない
Sore demo nige rarenai
But still, I can't escape
それでも (soredemo) = but still; and yet; nevertheless
迯げる (nigeru) = to escape; to run away (逃げられない is present indicative negative in potential plain form)

ここ (此処, koko) = here; this place
から (kara) = from

思う (omou) = to think
度 (tabi) = times
いつも (何時も, itsumo) = always
首 (kubi) = neck
元 (moto) = origin; source
何か (nanika) = something
足りない (tarinai) = insufficient; lacking
気がする (kigasuru) = to have a certain feeling

何もないはずのそこの
Nani mo nai hazu no soko no
There shouldn't have been anything
何も無い (nanimonai) = nothing
はず (筈 hazu) = will take place or was in some state

温かい感触に
Atatakai kanshoku ni
A warm touch
温かい (atatakai) = warm
感触 (kanshoku) = sense of touch; feeling

無性に泣きたくなる
Mushouni nakitaku naru
in a non-sexual way... I feel like crying
無性 (musei) = asexual
泣き (naki) = weeping; lamenting

そして夢を見る
Soshite yume wo miru
And then, I saw a dream
そして (soshite) = and then; and
夢 (yume) = dream
見る (miru) = to see

Tsubasa wo shotta darekaga
Somebody carrying wings on his back
翼 (tsubasa) = wing
背負う (shou) = to be burdened with; to carry on back or shoulder
誰か (dare) = someone; somebody

助けに来てくれる、
Tasuke ni kite kureru,
Came to help
助け (tasuke) = to help
来て (kite) = to come

ここから連れ出してくれる
Koko kara tsuredashite kureru
To take me away from here
連れる (tsukeru) = to lead; to take (a person)
出す (dasu) = to take out; to get out)
連れ出す (tsuredasu) = to take out

そんな、都合のいい夢
Son'na, tsugounoii yume
It's such a convenient dream
そんな (son'na) = such
都合 (tsugou) = circumstances; condition convenience

どうやって (douyatte) = how; in what way
入る (hairu) = to enter
った (tta) = [suffix] indicate past tense in verbs

不法侵入者め!!憲兵に付きだしてやる
Fuhou shin'nyuu-sha-me!! Kenpei ni tsuki dashite yaru
You trespasser!! I'll send the military police
不法 (fuhou) = lawlessness; injustice; illegality
侵入 (shin'nyuu) = penetration; invasion; trespass
者 (mono) = person
憲兵 (kenpei) = military police

人身売買の件でお前に出頭命令が出ている
Jinshin baibai no kudan de omae ni shuttou meirei ga dete iru
Then the fact you're involved with human trafficking will go out and you'll have to surrender
人身 (jinshin) = the human body
売買 (baibai) = trade; buying and selling)
人身売買 (jinshin baibai) = human trafficking
件 (ken/kudan) = matter
お前 (omae) = you
出頭 (shutou) = appearance; surrender
命令 (meirei) = order; command
出頭命令 (shutou meirei) = order requiring somebody to report personally (to a police station)
出て(deru) = to go out; to appear; to be published
